Easy language

According to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, all people have the right to participate in society on an equal basis with others. This also includes barrier-free communication and public relations work. At the suggestion of the Disability Advisory Council, the Social Welfare Office is currently working on the accessible design of information materials. The first leaflets in easy-to-read language have been published in cooperation with the Lebenshilfe Sachsen e. V. regional association.
The brochures are available from the Social Welfare Office, BVZ Moritzhof, Bahnhofstr. 53, 09111 Chemnitz.
