Electronic awarding for Europe-wide tenders
In April 2016, the City of Chemnitz introduced the first stage of electronic procurement, or eProcurement for short, for Europe-wide tenders on time. The basis for this is the "Act on the Modernisation of Public Procurement Law". Accordingly, all notices and tender documents are accessible electronically via the platformwww.eVergabe.de and can be downloaded free of charge.

Service concession for the management of therapy areas (occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy) for the therapeutic care of students at the Terra Nova Campus ChemnitzThe City of Chemnitz intends to conclude a service concession for the management of occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy for the therapeutic care of students at the Terra Nova Campus from the 2025/26 school year for a period of three years with the option to extend the contract by two years.

Second procurement conference provides information on municipal projects
On 4 April 2022, the City of Chemnitz held its second procurement conference in the Great Hall of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. With this format, the City of Chemnitz aims to inform regional companies about upcoming construction measures and procurement projects at an early stage. Entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to find out about relevant tenders and prepare corresponding resources if necessary.
