Cultural funding since 2021
On 25 June 2020, the Culture Committee adopted the 3rd amendment to the "Guidelines for the Granting of Grants in the Field of Art and Culture" as part of draft resolution B-130/2020.
The amendment had become necessary due to some adjustments in the area of legal regulations, but above all in connection with the "Cultural Strategy of the City of Chemnitz for the years 2018 to 2030" adopted by the City Council.
The new guideline contains a strategic guideline that serves as an orientation for the awarding of funding and as a reference point for possible funding content and funding formats.
