Big events on historic ground
With two exhibition halls, 11,000 square metres of exhibition space, 8,000 square metres of outdoor space and conference rooms, Messe Chemnitz offers the best conditions for large events.
Concerts, sporting events, trade fairs, meetings and conferences have been held on the historic site of the former Wanderer works since 2003.
Premises
Aircraft engines were once manufactured at the exhibition centre, but today the industrial backdrop hosts major events. The centrepiece of the location is the multifunctional Hall 1, which can be adapted to a wide range of requirements - for concerts by international stars such as Bryan Adams, for sporting events such as the International Supercross or for conferences such as national party conventions.
A glazed transition creates the connection with the smaller Hall 2, which offers an outdoor area of 8,000 m2 and logistics for event organisation with a ticket counter, adjoining rooms for the organisers' and press offices and boxes for VIP guests. Barrier-free access is possible.
