Chemnitz city bike
The "Chemnitz City Bike" project offers a total of 130 rental bikes at four rental stations (three hotel locations, rental exclusively for guests), which any guest or local can use to explore the city - without any complicated contracts or bureaucratic hurdles.
The principle is simple: present your identity document, pay a hire fee of 2.50 euros per day and bike and off you go.
Hardly any other means of transport makes it possible to get from one point in the city to another more quickly, which is why cycling has increased significantly in recent years.
A trend that the "Chemnitz City Bicycle" project naturally wants to take fully into account.
The "Chemnitzer Stadtfahrrad" project was designed and developed in a user-friendly way by the Chemnitzer Gewölbegänge e.V. association on behalf of the City of Chemnitz and in cooperation with the City of Chemnitz.
