On Wednesday, 7 May, from 5 to 7.15 p.m., interested parties are invited to the event "Ab in den Mülleimer - und dann?", on site at the waste disposal and city cleaning company of the city of Chemnitz, Blankenburgstraße 62.
In addition to a presentation by the waste advisory service of ASR Chemnitz on the question of which materials from household waste can actually be recycled and what consumers need to bear in mind when separating waste, there will also be a tour of the recycling centre. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the recovery of raw materials from waste.
Registration and further information can be found at the event link or by calling 0371 488-4343.
The industrialised economy is highly dependent on raw materials, but these are finite and becoming more expensive. Waste products can be fed back into the economic cycle through recycling, thereby conserving resources.
The event is a co-operation between ASR Chemnitz and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre. It is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament.
