Citizen information from the registration office on the publication of anniversaries of age and marriage

Pursuant to Section 33 (2) of the Saxon Registration Act, the registration authority may publish data on old-age and marriage anniversaries (names, doctor's degree, addresses as well as the date and type of anniversary) and transmit them to the press, radio and other media for the purpose of publication. Old-age anniversaries are residents celebrating their 70th or a later birthday; marriage anniversaries are residents celebrating their golden wedding anniversary or a later marriage anniversary. This does not apply if the person concerned objects to the publication or transmission of their data.

Objections already submitted in previous years remain valid and do not have to be repeated.

The application to object to the publication of data is available at the Chemnitz registration office, at the city's citizen service centres and on the Internet

Form to object to the disclosure of personal data

Objections to the transfer of a data subject's data must be addressed to the City of Chemnitz, Citizens' Office, Registration Office, 09106 Chemnitz (headquarters: Düsseldorfer Platz 1) or submitted to any citizen service centre of the City of Chemnitz.

The current office hours of the registration office (Düsseldorfer Platz 1) are Monday and Friday 8.30 am to 12 noon, Tuesday and Thursday 8.30 am to 6 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm.
