Short description:

The association was founded on 4 November 1904 as the Kiautschau allotment garden association and was renamed "Am Wiesenquell" e. V. Chemnitz in 1945. It is a non-profit organisation.

It is located in the centre of the largest contiguous allotment garden area in the city of Chemnitz. In 2004, the association celebrated its 100th anniversary.

The allotment garden association is a member of the Chemnitz city federation of allotment gardeners.

The association is characterised by its charming, quiet location. It is situated in the northern part of Chemnitz on the periphery of the Zeißigwald. The association has its own car park. From some of the gardens you have a wonderful unobstructed view of Ebersdorf and Frankenberg.

The clubhouse, which is run by the club itself in the summer months and thus contributes to a lively club life, is noteworthy. A well-attended children's playground on the grounds also contributes to family friendliness.

Vacant gardens are always announced on the club's website.

  • Allotment garden association
