The green area in the north-west of Chemnitz was founded on 16 February 1925 as the Glösa gardening association. In 1948, the Glösa gardening association became the Glösa allotment garden association. On 2 November 1990, the association was entered in the register of associations of the city of Chemnitz as the allotment garden association "Grüner Hang" e.V. under the number 475.
The site consists of 37 plots and a project garden.
The allotment garden site is located at Freigutweg 3 in Chemnitz-Glösa. The garden site can be reached from the city centre both on foot and by public transport (CVAG) using lines 22 and 63 to the Glösa terminus.
Line 22 from the direction of Chemnitzer Straße
Line 63 from the direction of Ebersdorf - Dorfstraße stop.
It is of course possible to visit the facility by car. B107 (Chemnitztalstraße) from the city centre and from the direction of Auerswalde as well as via the A4 motorway, exit Glösa.
