The Blue Bees Chemnitz e. V. is a leisure club that emerged from the former IBM Club Chemnitz.
The organisation's work is divided into the areas of "Art & Culture" and "Sport & Games". It promotes joint activities between the generations as well as cultural and sporting activities. Sports events and celebrations are regularly organised for members.

- Table tennis, weight machines at Villa Haase
- Organisation of sports activities and tournaments
- Occasional sports activities such as canoeing, cycling, rubber dinghy rides, bowling, winter sports
- Cultural events such as travelogue evenings, tastings, exhibition visits, museum tours
- Regular family hikes, usually in combination with guided tours, visits to exhibitions, etc.
- Family parties and celebrations, such as the annual children's Christmas party and the summer party
