Dirt track forest road
Dirt track at the Forststraße playground in Zeisigwald cannot be used until further notice
The bicycle dirt track (earth mound for dirt jump cycling) at the Forststraße playground in Zeisigwald cannot be used until further notice. Media under the dirt track had to be removed due to extensive environmental protection measures.As illegal construction work had already been carried out on the dirt track by third parties, the track was already in a substandard and unsafe condition.
It is no longer possible to simply restore the dirt track, meaning that it can no longer be used. Users are asked to switch to the municipal tracks at Konkordiapark or Nordpark an der Chemnitz.
Please note that cycling in the forest outside of paths is not permitted under the Saxon Forest Act. The Parks Department asks for your understanding and acceptance.
The large children's playground next to the forest road can still be used without restriction.
