Healthcare proxy

With a health care proxy, you can authorise people you trust yourself in good health to carry out all or certain tasks for you later in an emergency. A health care proxy can avoid the need for legal guardianship. An effective health care proxy takes precedence over legal guardianship.

Care decree

The care directive is not a health care proxy. However, both documents can be combined. With a care directive, you specify your wishes in the event that a carer needs to be appointed. You can also nominate certain people as carers.
