On Monday, 12 May, from 5.30 pm to around 7.30 pm, interested parties are invited to an impulse evening entitled "Educational projects in Chemnitz". The event is aimed at parents, school administrators, parent representatives and practical advisors and offers the opportunity to find out about current developments and actively participate in the future education process.
Registration is possible until 11 May at https://mitdenken.sachsen.de/-3VTt1TJb.
The City of Chemnitz's Business Division, the Chemnitz School-Business Working Group and the Chemnitz District Parents' Council invite you to find solutions together and promote dialogue between schools, businesses and parents. The aim is to present existing solutions and actively participate in the further development of the educational process.
The "Business meets school" and "School meets business" projects are a central component of the event. These initiatives enable targeted cooperation between schools and companies in order to make education practical and future-orientated. This close cooperation allows pupils to gain valuable insights into the world of work and drive forward their professional orientation in a targeted manner.
The school education and vocational orientation of children and young people are of crucial importance for their life path. However, given the shortage of teachers and increasing cancellations of lessons, schools in Chemnitz are facing major challenges.
