American foulbrood of bees in Chemnitz

American foulbrood has been officially diagnosed in Chemnitz and a restricted area has been established in accordance with the Bee Disease Ordinance. This includes areas in the districts of Euba, Adelsberg and Kleinolbersdorf-Altenhain.
Beekeepers and beekeepers located in this restricted area are subject to the provisions of the general order on animal diseases dated 23 April 2024.
