Dementia course

Living with dementia brings with it a multitude of challenges and problems. In most cases, the impatience and lack of understanding of other people lead to conflict situations. The "Hands on Dementia" dementia course brings the everyday lives of people with dementia to life and helps to raise awareness.

With the help of 13 stations, the dementia trail offers interested parties the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of a person with dementia and experience certain symptoms of the disease and challenges in everyday life.

"Hands on Dementia" can be requested by organisations, services or associations in the Chemnitz area. This is an ideal opportunity to better understand behaviours and feelings and enables interactive knowledge transfer, particularly for internal training courses or events with relatives.

You can find more information about "Hands on Dementia" at www.hands-on-dementia.info
