Advice on tumour diseases

Qualified social workers from the Office for Health and Prevention specialising in psycho-oncology offer cancer patients and their relatives help in coping with the disease.
They provide counselling on diagnostics, therapy, aftercare and rehabilitation. The psychosocial aspect takes centre stage.
They work together with hospital social services, doctors, psychologists, oncological practices, health insurance companies, rehabilitation facilities, nursing services and medical supply stores, hospice and palliative services, tumour centres, regional and national cancer societies, as well as public authorities.
