Joint vaccination centre of Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH and the City of Chemnitz

The Joint Vaccination Centre of Chemnitz Hospital and the City of Chemnitz was launched on 1 September 2022.

All recommended vaccinations are carried out there:

  • SARS-CoV-2 (Corona)
  • Influenza (flu)
  • FSME (tick vaccination)
  • Hepatitis A+B (jaundice)
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox
  • Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), polio (polio)
  • Pneumococcus (pneumonia)
  • Herpes zoster (shingles)
  • HPV (cervical cancer)
  • Meningococcus (meningitis)

Regular opening hours:

The joint vaccination centre is regularly open every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. All vaccinations according to the Saxon vaccination calendar are available.

Opening hours in January 2025:

Due to the public holiday on 01.01.2025, the vaccination centre will be open on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month in January 2025:

  • Wednesday, 08.01.2025, 2 - 6 pm
  • Wednesday, 22 January 2025, 2 - 6 p.m.



Appointments at the Joint Vaccination Centre

To ensure the availability of the respective vaccine, it isstrongly recommended that you book anappointment at.

Appointments can be booked online or via the service number 115.

The available appointments will be displayed in the portal.

If necessary, please cancel booked appointments in good time (up to 6 hours before the appointment) so that no vaccines are wasted. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge you for the costs of a no-show. By booking an appointment, you agree to this regulation.

Depending on capacity, people without an appointment can also be considered, preferably between 3 and 5 pm. This may result in waiting times.

Travel medical advice and vaccinations

Appointments for travel medical consultations and vaccinations (e.g. yellow fever, typhoid, Japanese encephalitis, rabies, malaria prophylaxis etc.) can only be booked directly through the travel vaccination centre due to medical conditions (e.g. availability of special vaccines). Appointments should preferably be made by e-mail to
