Labour field of action

In 2030, society in Chemnitz and the economy in particular will have reached a high level of awareness for the participation of people with severe disabilities, people with disabilities or people at risk of disability in working life. Suitable offers and measures that comply with the UN CRPD are provided by service providers and service providers with the aim of enabling and securing employment in the primary labour market. This means that everyone can participate in work and employment in a self-determined manner, regardless of the type and severity of their disability or impairment.

Goals:

  1. Counselling and support for employees and employers
  2. Sensitising the Chemnitz working world to the employment of people with disabilities
  3. Developing and strengthening the life skills of young people
  4. The City of Chemnitz creates internships and apprenticeships for people with disabilities
  5. The City of Chemnitz takes the employment of people with disabilities into account when tendering and awarding contracts and services
  6. Profiling for people with disabilities

A lot has to be taken into account.

If you know what you can do, that's good.
Others should also know what you can do.
This is particularly important for a job.
