Chemnitz inclusive: Fields of action
Education field of action
Our vision for Chemnitz is that by 2030, all daycare centres will provide equal educational opportunities and social participation for every child. The professionals are sensitised and qualified for this.
The spatial and material resources are available. Pupils learn together and are guided to a school-leaving qualification that corresponds to their potential as well as being specifically prepared for working life. The necessary support and counselling systems are in place.
Inclusive thinking and action characterise the transition as well as working and learning at work and university. All those involved in vocational training, research and teaching are sensitised and qualified to deal with diversity.
In lifelong learning, there will be no exclusion or impairment of participation in further education and training events by 2030. Barrier-free access, inclusive work and inclusive learning are a matter of course at the city's educational institutions.
Goals:
- Chemnitz needs a concept for inclusive early childhood and school education

Easy language:

1.
Good education for all.
In all daycare centres.
In all schools.
There should be a plan for this.
There should be counselling and support.
2.
What is being done for good education?
That's what we want to know.
We want to talk about it.
3.
Everyone should be informed.
What does inclusion mean in daycare centres?
What does inclusion mean at school?
Parents also want to know how their children learn.
They need to be able to come to school.
Or to the daycare centres.
4.
Talking to each other helps.
5.
From school to work.
That should go well.
6.
Learning doesn't end with school.
Lifelong learning is good.
7.
You can always continue your education.
That's what adult education centres are for.
For everyone.
8.
All children are together in the daycare centres.
That's good.
Children play and learn together.
Disabilities do not play a role.
9.
All daycare centres and schools should be barrier-free.
10.
Teachers also need information.
About people with disabilities.
About inclusion.
About learning together.
11.
Everyone should be able to learn at every school.
There should be the help that someone needs.
12.
Anyone who needs help gets help.
An assistant is someone who can help.
13.
Nobody is allowed to speak ill of another person.
Or be mean.
Or insult another person.
14.
Teachers are different.
Just as children and young people are different.
15.
There are sports schools in Chemnitz.
Children with disabilities can also learn there.
And do sport.
